Fragrant Ode to Exotic Asia: KENZOAMOUR le Parfum
The rich sweetness of benzoin balm and amber combine with the softness of frangipani blossom and vanilla to create one of my favorite fragrances to date. Benzoin is a resin derived from the Styrax tree, and has a sweet scent of balsam and vanilla. (I admit I am biased; you could pour benzoin on me and I would wear it straight.)
Perfect nose candy.
Now for the eye candy: designer Rashid’s original bottle design has now been dipped in a matte gold finish which was inspired by the ethereal shrines of the East and evokes the precious incense offerings made to the deities as thanks for the good fortune.
