As a shrewd but shameless bag fanatic who always had to have "just one more", Lee Sylvester decided to create something that would leave the competition (ie. other bag ladies) in the dust. "It had to give me the upper edge on everyone else's bag," explains the former fashion and accessories designer for brands like Sergio Tacchini, Puma, and Umbro. Competitive handbag oneupmanship eventually evolved into Bagslag, her quirky new label featuring creative pattern-cutting techniques lined in the line's signature pink. "Bagslag designs are edgy, but still practical," she adds. Available at Bagslag.com.
