Matthew Williamson for H&M Goes on Sale
Taking a walk down memory lane, English designer Matthew Williamson has created a fun, colorful collection for H&M inspired by the most iconic and special pieces from his past collections. “Color is one of the defining aspects of my signature style, I focused on the iconic peacock motif seen across my collections to develop a palette of blues, chartreuse and emerald," explains Williamson. "The spirit of the collection is both covetable and precious." The bias-cut butterfly print dress in particular is a stunning update of a look from Williamson's first show in 1997.
Here is some fun eyecandy of the calm before the storm: the H&M store on 640 5th Avenue just before the doors are about to open & the merch gets ravaged by fashionistas on a mission.
