Models Without Makeup - Yikes!
If you've ever harbored the suspicion that all that separates you from a fabulous career in modeling is a few inches and maybe a few pounds - despite limp lanky locks and a face that looks like the back end of a bus...well, according to this fun piece in NYMag.com, you'd be right! They nabbed these polaroids of models arriving for the Gucci Spring 2009 show, and compared them to how they look when they're runway ready:
One of the commenters to the post observes, "Yet another reminder that in fashion, ugly has become the new pretty," while another quotes Dolly Parton: "There's no such thing as natural beauty."
What there's no arguing with is the fact that makeup artist Pat McGrath and hairstylist Luigi Murenu are both geniuses.
