Lingerie Fit for a Queen (of Burlesque)
Burlesque diva Dita Von Teese recently unveiled a sneak peek at her new limited edition lingerie collection for Wonderbra, which will be available in Europe at the end of September. Inspired by the glamour of the 40s and 50s, Dita wanted to create a collection that she herself would want to wear and couldn’t live without.
"I am very proud of the lingerie that I've created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes," explains the strip-teasing lingerie conoisseur.
"I love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own on underneath. Lingerie shouldn’t be something you just put on for your lover; you should do it for you. It's not about seducing men, it's about embracing womanhood."
Although grounded in the aesthetic of a bygone era of glamour, the modern Wonderbra twist combines comfort with quality in three separate styles:
- Multi-Teese (black) not only can the straps be arranged in a number of different ways, but the quick-release magnetic closure on both the bra and panty makes daring stripteases a cinch
- Spot-Teese a fun and flirty range with a casino chip motif in caramel, overlaid with a sexy sheer black tulle and accented with a floral detail
- Satin-Teese (two shades: soft peach & dove grey) a return to retro glamour that features a 50’s top wire design
