"Plastic" Beauty Amanda Seyfried Graces Teen Vogue
Best known as one of the ditzy, fabulously nasty Plastics in the Tina Fey movie Mean Girls, savvy Seyfried is more than a golden-tressed pretty face. A former Wilhelmina child model, the 22 year old is lighting up the silver screen this summer (along with Meryl Streep) as Sophia in Mamma Mia! as well as the cover of August Teen Vogue.
An eclectic jeans and dress loving low-key fashionista, her fave labels include "sophisticated but modest" Miu Miu and Opening Ceremony by Chloe Sevigny. "I have my own sense of style. I don't necessarily copy anybody to the T."
The August 2008 issue of Teen Vogue hits newsstands July 1. Seyfried also appears on HBO's Big Love; is currently shooting Jennifer's Body, a Diablo Cody (Juno) dark comedy in the vein of cult classic Heathers; recently wrapped Boogie Woogie, an indie; and will be making her music video debut singing - she has been classically trained in vocals since the age of 11 - Mamma Mia's Gimme Gimme Gimme.
