Condé Nast & Dillards Want You to Weigh in With Your Two Cents on Their Fashion Picks
Dillard's and the Condé Nast Media Group have teamed up on the new Dillard's FAB ("For And By") Style Collection, launching April 7. After the fash experts at Style.com choose their top 10 women and juniors items on Dillards.com, readers get to rate the looks on the list. Every two weeks, the #1 chosen item will receive a FAB Factor Seal of Approval and will be featured in a Dillard’s online advertisement with a click-through to purchase on nine Condé Nast Websites including Teen Vogue, YM.com, Glamour, Allure, W, Style.com, Vanity Fair, Self, and Lucky.
Dillard's will also be sponsoring the popular Condé Nast Facebook application What Are You Wearing, where you share what you're wearing today, rate your friends' looks, share clothes, and generally play style showoff.
Throughout April, the top trends from Dillard's will be featured in a Dillard's-sponsored "closet" that users can shop virtually, and then click through to shop for real. In May, Dillard's will be the initial sponsor of Condé Nast's new interactive What When WEAR application, which allows online fashionistas to upload pix, comment on every else's wardrobe choices, provide ideas for what to wear on a date/a night out/cocktails [fill in the fashion emergency blank] and the best part: recommend items that would take someone's outfit from dire to on-fire.
