Wanna be the Next Face of Lord & Taylor?
Lord & Taylor just announced their 2008 Lord & Taylor Model Search, a six market casting call for models that are at least 18 years old & US residents to be featured in the Spring 2009 advertising campaign.
After each of the six casting calls (see the schedule below), 20 contestants will be selected per market and their images posted online so that everyone can vote via email (one vote per email, please). After the first round of voting closes on February 21, the top 10 remaining contestants will compete in the second round of voting, which ends at midnight, February 26. (The public vote counts for 49%.)
The last 12 standing (two finalists each per market) will be announced on February 29. They will be given a $500 L&T shopping spree and invited on an all-expenses paid trip to NYC in early March to participate in a Fashion Show at Lord & Taylor's Fifth Avenue store. The panel of judges will include Industry insiders LaVelle Olexa, Lord & Taylor's SVP Advertising, Sales Promotion and Public Relations and David Lipman of LIPMAN, the advertising agency behind Lord & Taylor's much buzzed about $10 Million branding campaign. In addition to landing the campaign which will be shot in the fall, the winners will receive $1000 L&T shopping sprees.

- Feb. 11: NYC - Fifth Avenue flagship store
- Feb. 12: Paramus, NJ - Garden State Plaza
- Feb. 13: Boston, MA - Prudential Center
- Feb. 14: Washington, DC - Chevy Chase
- Feb. 15: Scarsdale, NY - Eastchester
- Feb. 16: Garden City, NY
