Slip on a Groovy Belt from Lucy's Sister for a Cheeky Austin Powers-meets-Paris Hilton Vibe
Inspired by memories of the 70s when cut-off Levis ruled, fashionistas wore clogs (yes, even the men), and everyone seemed to have the coolest belts (like the one fashioned from bullet casings belonging to her mother), Marissa Spada came to acquire a fabulous collection of 60's and 70's belt buckles with amazing leather straps. Whenever she wore one, she was usually asked where she got it, and often would take it off and sell it on the spot.
Her own line, Lucy's Sister, features solid pewter and brass buckles with interchangeable belt straps and a girlie yet vintage rock and roll vibe. For more on this fun loving Boston-based designer and her adorable black pug's eponymous accessories line, check out this piece that was recently featured in Boldfacers.
