Happy Sex and the City Holidays from the HBO Shop Window

 

Carolers are currently on the loose in the streets of NYC, singing a cheery holiday song with a first verse that begins: On the first day of Christmas, my BIG LOVE gave to me SEX AND THE CITY DVDs.  In the nearby HBO Shop (1100 Avenue of the Americas - Sixth Ave. & 42nd St.), a Marchesa runway rose dress clad mannequin sits framed by a wall of roses and a new SATC movie trailer, surrounded by holiday gifts; the only unopened package says SATC Movie. Do Not Open Until May 2008.

Come May 30, the endless wait will be over, and cosmo-crazy, Manolo-mad fashionistas the world over can finally catch up with New Yorkers Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda four years after the series ended. In addition to the usual suspects Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon - and love interests Chris Noth, Jason Lewis, Evan Handler and David Eigenberg - Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) will be playing a new character, Carrie Bradshaw's assistant.
