Lord & Taylor Unveils their 2007 Holiday Windows with the Theme: Christmas is the Moment!
For more than 80 years, the holiday decor at Lord & Taylor
has added to the enchantment of Christmas in New York. This year, the decoration scheme pays tribute to experiencing the fundamental joys through the five senses as the historic Fifth Avenue flagship is once again outlined by thousands of tiny lights.
The festivities kick off at 5 pm in front of the main doors of the flagship store with a special performance by The Young People's Chorus of New York City under the direction of its Founder and Artistic Director, Francisco J. Nuñez.
Lord & Taylor's President and CEO, Jane Elfers, will be joined by special guests Iman, Founder and CEO of IMAN Cosmetics and Global Ambassador of Keep a Child Alive - an organization founded in Mombasa, Kenya to combat the global AIDS pandemic - and Larry Jones, Founder of Feed the Children, which provides assistance to families in the United States and 118 countries around the world.
In addition, the Lord & Taylor Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays gift card will also benefit the Feed the Children organization.
