Celebs Customize Uggs to Benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Using the word hope as inspiration, a galaxy of celebs - including Liv Tyler, the cast of Las Vegas (Josh Duhamel, Tom Selleck & Molly Sims), Kelly Preston, Minnie Driver, Penelope Cruz, Sharon Stone, Cindy Crawford (left), Ellen DeGeneres, Eva Longoria, the cast of Friday Night Lights, Whoopi Goldberg, John Travolta, Jorge Posada, Kelly Ripa, Ashlee & Jessica Simpson, Seth MacFarlane, Ashton Kutcher (below), Matthew McConaughey, Miley Cyrus, Jordana Spiro & Audrina Patridge - have each painted a pair of classic UGGs to be auctioned off from December 1-14. 100% of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude's, which helps children with cancer & other catastrophic diseases.
This is the fifth annual Art & Sole event, and the third year in a row that St. Jude's has been the beneficiary. "Art & Sole is our opportunity to give back to a great cause like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and help make a difference," says Connie Rishwain, President of UGG Australia about the program which has raised more than $100,000 for the internationally-recognized Tennesse-based organization.
Founded by the late Danny Thomas, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world; no family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay.
The auction will take place at UggAustralia.com.
