In a little under 10 days after he launched his innovative sneaker petition (CLICK HERE for the Fashiontribes post on this) to coax Nike into producing the moon boot'ish kicks that Michael J. Fox - as the character Marty McFly - sported in Back to the Future II, the planet's most famous sneaker activist, Al Cabino (cabino at gmail dot com), has gotten newspaper & blog coverage from over 30 countries, including USA, Italy, Japan, France, Russia, Chile, Spain, Hong Kong, China and Canada. He's even featured in this week's Maclean's Magazine (Dec 5 - 12, 2005) as one of their Top 10 Newsmakers - as #2 no less.
And now, it's Operation McFly The Blog - OperationMcFly.Blogspot.com - dedicated to the world's first sneaker petition. So go on, stick it to The Man: Just Sign It!
