One has to wonder how Karl Lagerfeld manages to design Chanel (6 collections a year), Fendi and Lagerfeld Gallery without ever getting stale. Lagerfeld Gallery clearly got his leftover enthusiasm. While it was beautiful and fun, we were missing the terrific denim and varying silhouettes we usually get to see. Black, blue and camel items got the circular cut-out treatment- punching them up a bit. A crossing chiffon and silk, cut-out blue dress was especially nice, as was the series of cut out a=lace and silk dresses that finished the collection. A perfect mix of structure and drapery accented each item, and the feminine, flowing white shirts were lovely. The lone shot of multi-colour, a ruched dress, was my favorite piece of the collection.
