Your blogette Rachel & I were at the Temperley London show & ended up sitting right behind American Vogue editrix Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Schaffer - I snapped a quick pic of the view from the back so you could see the famed coiffure up close and personal.
Apparently the Prada-clad and body-guarded - yes, two of them to keep the fashion fray at bay no doubt - devil might not always be... we must report that not only did the editrix interact with her offspring, but was really sweet to her & her daughter seemed to really enjoy spending time with mom.
Schaffer was in an adorable Marc Jacobs dress carrying not the latest must-have clutch, but rather, an enormous tome - The Iliad no less. And then I stumbled across this hilarious entry on the ever fabulous Gawker.com Bee Schaffer Poisons Fashion Week With Literature - vintage!

Bee Schaffer Poisons Fashion Week With Literature
Yes, we've been to a few fashion shows, so we do know that the wait for the first rawboned orphan to come stomping down the runway can be somewhat interminable. But is it really so bad that Vogue editor Anna Wintour's daughter, the friendly looking Bee Schaffer, had to drag along her 7-pound copy of The Iliad? We're appalled Wintour would even let someone of her bloodline be seen with such a thing; intelligence is such an unattractive accessory. Bee could have at least found a nice fur trim for the book, something to make it a bit less ghastly. Tsk, tsk.
